Editorial Policy
How Healthy Primix researches, writes, reviews, sources and updates its health content.

Our principles
- Accuracy over speed. We would rather publish later than publish something wrong.
- Evidence-informed. Claims are based on reliable sources, and we say how strong the evidence is.
- Plain language. We explain medical terms and units instead of hiding behind them.
- No cures, no fear. We do not claim that foods, supplements or home remedies cure diseases, and we avoid alarming headlines.
- Safety first. Articles about potentially serious symptoms include clear guidance on when to seek medical help.
Sources we use
In order of preference:
- Guidance from public-health authorities (such as the WHO, CDC, NHS, NIH and EFSA).
- Clinical guidelines and positions of recognised medical and scientific bodies.
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses, then individual peer-reviewed studies.
Every article lists its sources with links. We do not cite sources we have not read, and we never invent statistics, studies or quotes. When evidence is limited or mixed, we say so.
How an article is made
- Question first. We start from a real question people ask, and answer it directly near the top.
- Research. The writer gathers primary sources and records them in the article.
- Editing. A second person checks clarity, tone, sources and that claims match what the sources say.
- Medical review. Where an article gives health guidance, our aim is review by a qualified health professional. Reviewed articles name the reviewer, their qualifications and the review date. If an article does not show a reviewer, it has not been medically reviewed.
- Publication. Articles show the publication date and the date of the last meaningful update.
Authors and reviewers
We only name authors and reviewers who have agreed to be named, and we only list qualifications they actually hold. Content published without a named author is published by Healthy Primix as an organisation.
Keeping content up to date
We review articles when guidance changes, when readers report a problem, and at least once a year. Significant changes are reflected in the “Updated” date; corrections of facts are handled under our corrections policy.
Use of AI tools
We may use software, including AI tools, to help with drafting, structure or editing. A person is always responsible for the final content, checks every claim against the cited sources, and decides whether it is published.
Independence, advertising and affiliate links
Healthy Primix does not currently publish sponsored articles or affiliate links on this website. If that changes, sponsored content and affiliate links will be clearly labelled, and they will never influence our health guidance.
Videos
Our YouTube videos are short by design and cannot cover every detail. Where a video and an article on this site differ, the article, with its sources, is the more complete reference. We only feature videos on this site that are consistent with this policy.
